Director Volusia County Mediation Services 1995 to 1999, Vice Chairman 1997;
Holly Hill Redevelopment Board 1995 to 1999;
Member of the Museum of Arts and Sciences, Inc., serving as President for two terms, and 25 years on the Board of Trustees of the Museum of Arts and Sciences, Inc.. and served on  the Building Committee for the original building on Museum Blvd., and held many other offices, chairmanships; Member of the Guild of the Museum of Arts and Sciences, since 1969, served as Treasurer of the Halifax Art Festival for 11 years; Member of the Junior League of Daytona Beach, served as vice president and chaired many committees, member since 1964

HONORS
Leila was awarded the “Gloria Cook Community Service Award in 2017” This award is given to a Junior League member in good standing, for a lifetime of outstanding service to the community.

REALTOR EMERITUS - A status awarded in recognition of forty cumulative years of membership in the National Association of Realtors and in recognition of valuable and lasting contribution to the real estate profession in the Community.
